Speaking & Media
Psychology is fascinating. It shouldn't have to be complicated.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than a decade working in morning radio and another decade teaching university courses in communication and human behavior. Along the way, I also facilitated workshops for organizations and professionals.
And I discovered something I still love doing:
Taking complicated ideas and making people say,
“Wait. That makes so much sense.”
Today I bring psychology out of textbooks and therapy rooms and into workplaces, classrooms, professional organizations, community groups, podcasts, and media.
My presentations aren't about telling people HOW they should think or behave.
They're about helping people understand WHY we think, feel, communicate, and behave the way we do.
Workshops
I've spent years teaching and presenting to audiences ranging from university classrooms to professional organizations and corporate groups.
Programs can be delivered as:
Keynotes and presentations
Lunch-and-learns
Professional workshops

Community education programs
University and continuing-education programs
Available virtually or in person.
Popular topics include:
Hidden Rules: Why We Stay Stuck and How to Finally Make Change Stick
Have a Nice Day... Or Don't: A New Way to Think About Negativity
What Divorce Can Teach Us About Good Marriages
The Psychology Behind Parental Worry: Sending Kids Off to College
For Therapists: Coherence Therapy as the Solution for Stuck Clients
Additional presentations can be developed around psychology, communication, relationships, behavior, and change.
Podcasts & Media
I'm often a guest on podcasts and media programs discussing psychology, relationships, worry, and change.
I especially enjoy conversations where I can translate psychological research, and connect it to situations people encounter in everyday life. I’m passionate about topics related to human behavior - specifically, helping people understand themselves and others by making complex theories relatable to our day-to-day experiences.
